For about 17 years, he played the strings of the guitar, composing tunes that resonated with the unique sound of the band. However, in January 2019, the band’s journey reached its end, and along with it, a chapter in Lipford’s life also closed. But as it is said, closing one door opens another. Lipford adopted his solo venture with open arms, involving his experience and emotions in his music. His latest single, “Sunday Morning” is a poignant reflection on the finality of a love post. The song goes into the depths of heartache, painting a picture full of emotional and physical distances that happen when love fades away.
Self-produced and composed by Lipford at the Jungle Music Factory studio in Tivoli, “Sunday Morning” marks his thirteenth single. This is a track that doesn’t just sing to the heart but is also communicable to the soul, enveloping the bittersweet reality that nothing is going to be the same again.
