Torrio’s new single “Demons”, released on July 4th, 2025, is a heartbreakingly personal song that manages to pack an emotional punch, without being a song just put out for the sake of selling music. Torrio’s honest lyrics about his own personal fight with anxiety and even mild depression hit the listener right from the first lyrics. His voice rings of pain but a pain in which he’s also found strength, with lyrics which are blunt, honest, and straight to the point. There’s no ‘saving face’ in the song. Torrio simply pours his heart out to his listeners. He tells them how he feels inside his own mind and the struggles he goes through in not succumbing to thoughts he’d rather not think.

Production is crisp and clean but what makes “Demons” such a resonating listen is the raw emotion. It’s layered just right. There is enough softness in the song but the vocals remain blunt and as such remain a realistic piece of music. Torrio wrote and produced this song in his own home studio in Florida and you can tell just by listening how much love and care was put into each sound you hear in the track. “Demons” does not sound like a product made for just generating streams. It sounds like a song made to connect with those it will reach and in a real way save just one person’s life. It also helps that Torrio’s voice is both commanding but with enough emotional fervor in his delivery which reaches those that need to hear it most, including the listener him or herself.
Torrio’s lyrics in the song are what make this song as memorable as it is. It isn’t him showing off or pandering to current ‘popular’ music, it’s him showing the listener his own humanity. It is a song that will resonate with others who have dealt with their own darkness in life and who may not even be able to find the right words to express their emotions like Torrio so eloquently and articulately is able to. Not only does it show the listener they are not alone but for those who have never heard of Torrio before, this is one hell of an introduction to a talented musician.
