Richard Green, a creative music composer, has released a new single called “Wrinkles” as part of his EP “The Circle Closes”. This EP is the second part of a trilogy that tells a connected story through music. “Wrinkles” is a meaningful song that represents the last stage of life, showing the weariness that comes with age but also offering a hopeful message, to reach the end of life feeling content and pleased with the life we’ve lived.
Irene Veneziano on piano and the Archimia String Quartet perform the song “Wrinkles.” Richard met Irene on Facebook during the pandemic, and they started working together. The Archimia String Quartet, from Richard’s hometown, joined the project after his sound engineer introduced them. Together, they helped bring Richard’s vision for “Wrinkles” to life. Richard’s music combines classical and modern styles, similar to Ludovico Einaudi, but with a fresh and contemporary sound.
The talented pianist Irene Veneziano, who has performed at famous venues like La Scala in Milan, adds her expertise to the project. The Archimia String Quartet, known for their creative project of playing Pink Floyd’s music with strings, also contributes their skills, making the music even more special and unique. Richard’s sound engineer recorded the song “Wrinkles” at Elfo Studio in Italy. The EP, “The Circle Closes”, is a collection of connected songs, each telling a part of a bigger story. “Wrinkles” is about time and feeling tired, but it also encourages us to enjoy our lives and be proud of our achievements.
