Trailing behind the beautifully encapsulating title is “Morpheus In The Club”. With its astonishingly hypnotic beats, it sets up the rest of the tracks and album for what’s to come. If you were to step into a futuristic club, the sense of uncanny wonder encapsulates everything around you – here reality and fiction entwine. Leading the pack of many highlights is “Killer Charisma”. The sultry, danceable track is remarkable in its own right, holding mesmerizing lyrics about self-reflection and yearning for attention mixed with an intoxicatingly groovy and funky beat. The driving track “Heartburn” brings the mood down accompanied by its haunting production, yet remains smooth at its core. The lyrics speak of regret and the unforeseen consequences that accompany it. “Disco Love” is pure fun.
