Previously, George Bolton’s group, Trancendental, has hosted raves, played at clubs, and spent time at a local college radio station. Now, George wants to do house parties and DJ in clubs again. One memorable event was a rave at a club with different themed rooms featuring techno bands like Orbital and Aphex Twin. MIT students, dressed in hazmat suits, checked people in using a computer and signed them up for a mailing list, making the event stand out. George recorded “Triumph” in his home studio in Boston. Its goal is to stay true to Techno and its style while adding creativity.

George is reflecting on his tenure at Techno. The artwork for “Triumph” shows Sisyphus pushing a boulder up a mountain, representing our struggles and determination. George empathizes with Sisyphus, hoping our efforts are not in vain and the boulder will not perpetually tumble back down. “Great music despite the name!” is a quote from a past review that sums up what George Bolton’s Trancendental is all about. Remember to experience this masterpiece. George has attempted to introduce an innovative approach to the music world. It is a perfect anthem for Techno fans.
